New Market - James Willis Hinkle, 93, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday in the Rudisill Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. He had been seriously ill two weeks. Born Dec. 1, 1867, in Kentucky, he was the son of William and Rebecca Glenn Hinkle. He was married Nov. 6, 1889 to Winnie Armstrong. Mr. and Mrs. Hinkle celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary before Mrs. Hinkle's death in 1955. Mr. and Mrs. Hinkle lived their entire married life on a farm near here. Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Leona Groves of New Market. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. (EST) Wednesday at Reeves Funeral Home here with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
